If anyone is considering a new scope in the $700-$800 I can’t recommend this scope enough. I’ve had time of leupolds, vortex, meopta, and arken. This scope just clears them all. The glass might not be as good as my leupold vx5hd 3-15 but it’s a lot closer than it has any right to be. The scope is built like a tank and tracks without flaw. So if you’ve had questions on this scope or are hesitant don’t be you won’t be disappointed. IMG_0790.jpeg

Use Jake’s link too and anything over $500 gets you $25 off with the code Rokslide25.

Ordered mine on 11/20. These don’t show when you go through the Trijicon scopes route and then select a model. You need to just Search Trijicon Huron and they will show with the rest of the Hurons.

Dang wish I had known that before hand! Oh well I’ll use it in the future! Thanks for the info!

The glass seems very good. But, but it is enormous and heavy. Thus, I don't think it is a good fit for my the new Tikka 343 Lite I ordered or my Howa Mini 6 ARC.

I took my VX-5HD 3-15 off another heavier build and will mount the Huron on that rifle. The Leupold goes in the Tikka.

How many hunts have you taken it on?

I know the 3-9 Huron passed the torture test but the jury is still out on the 30mm options. I'm very interested in a 3-12.

I’ve taken it out on some hunts locally this season but nothing more worthy of abuse of the optic. It’s had a lot of time in the back of the truck in my gun case on gravel roads but that’s about all the more abuse I’ve put it through so take that how you will. My experience with it has been great so far though.

This one has my interest, I have the sightron stac on my saum and my cases hit the massive windage knob when I eject them. I’ve been looking for a sfp that’s similar but can dial. I realized this year that the ffp is not ideal for every western hunt. It worked great but if I had to stalk through dark timber or possibly sit water I would have struggled to see my reticle. Thanks for the heads up on the trijicon. Best wishes

One last thing. I originally tried to mount mine on a rifle with a 90-degree bolt throw. The low Vortex rings I bought were too low because the bolt knob hit the scope. I had to go with medium rings.
