Mil/Mil, FFP, illuminated, perhaps reasonably robust. Anyone have any experience with one of these? I have a 2.5-15x42 I really like. Would like one FFP for another specific rifle.

Did I understand that you want a FFP?
This Credo is SFP
Been looking at the same one. I looked at an Ascent 3-12 (30mm tube) and was very impressed by the glass. it was a step up in light and clarity of the Leupold VX3HD 3.5-10x40 (1 inch tube) I was looking at side by side. The Credo is $50 more but is 1 inch tube, so i don't know how they compare. I'm interested to know. Not sure the fancier/busier reticle is worth it, illumination might be nice, but I'd really like to compare actual glass quality, or hear form someone who has.

2-10x36 is FFP and 30mm

Don’t know what you’re referencing...my 2-10x36 arrived today and is definitely FFP

Looking forward to the reviews from you guys. I really like the sound of that scope. I currently run NXS 2.5-10x32 and 42 scopes. Interested to see how the Trijicon compares.

I wish the weight reflected the reduction in size. As it is I chose the 2.5-15x42 model at basically the same weight, very close IIRC. They make the 2.5-15 in both a 42 and 56, wish they could do a 2.5-10x42 in a shorter package. The 2-10x36 definitely interests me for the FFP aspect, though I primarily dial vs hold.

BjornViper, what’s the reticle look like on the low end? The website leads me to believe the bars do not span the FOV. Appears it would need the illumination, which it has, in the dark timber.

In dark timber on low power, will definitely need illumination. Not a fan of the reticle. It seems they are going for uncluttered FOV at low power, but that makes it difficult to find the cross hairs.

It’s apple to orange comparison, but I’ve attached pic looking through lowest power setting on the Credo and SWFA SS HD 5-20

Thanks! Going to have to think about that. I find myself with more short fast shots than long. With the illum on it may be just fine though.

Arrived today. Will need some time to make much in the way of meaningful comments. I do like the form factor, weighs 22.7oz. The reticle… I’ll need some time to decide. Normally, I prefer a much heavier reticle. But this one seems to naturally center the eye, and oddly, it is actually better against dark backgrounds with the illumination. It’s in the bright timber, low zoom, where it is hard to see.

I forgot about the custom wood stock you made for your Fieldcraft. Its beauiful. My 6.5 Fieldcraft is 22 units away from yours. Almost brothers lol

I am soo glad I got that rifle when I did. Amazing hunting rifle! Shoots much better than any light, compact rifle should, production or custom.
