Triggertech Special 2 Stage Question

I purchased a TT Special in the 2 stage flat shoe format to go on my PH3. I installed the trigger today and noticed that there was an audible click and a little bit of a hitch at the first stage wall during dry fire. I dont have that happening on my other 2 stage triggers in my ARs; one being the TT 3.5 Duty the other being a 4lb CMC. Is this behavior normal thing for TT 2 stage Special?

If anyone was wondering, the single stage TT Primary that came on the PH3 is great and has no such issues and got moved to my Bergara Wilderness Sierra.

Following along. Im interested in these but pissed because they don't make them in left handed models.

No two stage I've shot had had an audible click at the end of the first stage. Could be how they designed this one though.

They have the super 700, but it doesn't seem to be in-stock from what I have seen. Was kinda hoping to standardize my triggers so they feel the same.
