Triggertech Primary R700 - $110

Mine arrived today in a plastic bag as described. Installed using the trigger pins that came with the action and everything seems as it should. Just need my barrel and stock now

BTW, this is back up for the next 8 hours. This time it's only $99.95

Wow. Certainly the cheapest I’ve seen them

Does this have bolt release

No sir, it does not. Not unless there is another sku available that I cannot find.

I went thru this earlier. Was gonna order two of them. But I can only find one trigger tech primary for sale on their site, and cross checking the part # with trigger tech it is the "no bolt release" version (part # ends in -TNF for this specific one). That would work fine with a clone 700 with side bolt release.

The correct part for an an actual Remington 700 with the bottom bolt release like to replace a newer X Mark Pro trigger would end in -TBF.

If you look at the small picture on the listing you can actually see there is no bottom bolt release. Check the trigger tech site for the correct one with the release and the thumbnail pic does indeed change when switching back and forth. it is small but still easily noticeable when comparing between the two (-TNF vs -TBF)

I was still tempted to get one, assuming it would work and there is still a way to release the bolt (even if inconvenient). For my purposes no big deal, I wouldn't need it out except for initial sight-in and cleaning, and I wouldn't mind using a screwdriver or popsicle stick.

But I'm not sure if it can be done without taking action out of stock. If so that's a little too annoying for me

I have several of these. It takes a few tries, but I can hit the bolt release with a screw driver without removing the rifle from it's stock. I typically only remove the bolt to clean, so it's not a deal breaker for me.
