Tricer RP vs Dauntless Bipod vs Hatch Bipod

Cant decide between the two Bipods for my long range big game rifle chambered in 300 WSM. They All do what im looking for in a bipod sutch at seated and prone shooting for hunting here out west but each Has some features that the others dont. ill point out some of the Pros and Cons for ya, Im Leaning more towards the Dauntless but ill have you guys vote for me

• Newer Bipod So Not Well Known Yet

I know some people have mentioned QC issues with the Tricer, but that hasn't been my experience. Mine is absolutely solid. +1 for Tricer RP.

Seen several of the Tricers break I’d stay away from them. Consider the gunwerks as well unless you need that 30” of height it “only” goes up to 19”. They are expensive but a lot of NRL guys are running Ckye pods with those R3 development legs. Haven’t ran or messed with hatch or dauntless so no opinions there.

You left out the fact you can get the 3rd leg adapter for the hatch to run it as a tripod, or that you can use it standing to brace off of by rotating the legs opposite of each other and extending them. Made here in Idaho by a good group of people.

I took a fast seated shot on a down hill slope this year using my first gen hatch. Didn’t have time to take my pack off and used every bit of the length.

I bought a hatch because i borrowed one and loved it. I wish i waited a year and got the gen 2 but it is what it is.

I have been eyeballing the Dauntless for more gun gaming but I haven’t been able to justify the purchase. I’m not sure I want the twisty lock legs. The hatch is so fast to deploy and adjust.

I caved and bought the longer Dauntless bipod. I convinced my buddy to shoot a PRS match and he yard saled with his hatch bipod and damaged it a bit. Seeing that made me want a separate bipod for games and leaving my Hatch for field usage.

Out of the box i will not be carrying the Dauntless for a big game hunt. It’s huge! Photo below shows the gen 1 hatch dauntless and my Aziak back country tripod for size reference. It’s also 8-9 ounces heavier than the hatch. There is some weight that could be cut with the mounting head.

Won’t get to shoot it for a couple weeks but wanted to share some side by side shots.
