Tricer RP bipod deal at Scheel

How did you get a military discount at Scheels? I've asked them when I check out and they don't offer one. I didn't see it checking out online either.

Ordered late Thursday afternoon. At more doorstep Monday. That's pretty legit for free shipping and during the holidays no less.

I received my bipod today. Seems pretty well built. I'll put it through it's paces over the next couple months. Side note, I didn't even realize when I bought it, but the CS rep changed the price to $119. I was OTD @ 129$ can't beat that deal.

If anyone receives theirs and don’t want it, pls let me know. I’ll buy it off you.

I know that it doesn’t work for everyone, I used a buddy’s before, and it’s tight and slow deploying. So it may work for some but not others. I like it for range prone shooting. Maybe not for out in the field.

But, regardless, if anyone gets theirs and don’t like it, shoot me a pm, I’ll take it.

My only gripe so far is the locking lever for the pic rail clamp flips forward to lock rather than lock by the clamp body. We'll and the twist still being assbackwards to unlock and lock the legs. Other than that, this thing is a unit.

I found the same grievances, but easily overcome with practice.

I watched a Hush clip about using it standing with one leg extended and angled into your hip. Man does that totally work. As a blacktail hunter that normally carries shooting sticks with me while walking skid roads and timber. I can see myself not needing them anymore.

I used the Tricer in this way stand hunting in MI this year.
Helps to have a full length arca rail.

I put a #8-40 screw in it to stop panning. It can return to normal easily.

It's tapped into the ball and the sleeve is bored to allow it to function.

If tricer is watching.....just do a detent pin like this to allow both options. 20251224_093708.jpg20251224_093708.jpg

Got mine in today and first impression is this is an awesome bipod that was well thought out. I have been using a hatch bipod and have been nothing but happy with it, I mainly ordered this for my daughter but I might be on the look for a second one to replace my hatch. Hopefully I can make some time this weekend to test it out. I like the push buttons to deploy and to change the angle of the legs and the ability to switch legs from short to long depending on going to shoot off a bench or hunting seems like a solid set up.

My 1st impression of this bipod in the field was excellent. I tried to source locally even. Super excited for this piece of kit to arrive, thanks for the heads up and glad we were able to get in at a great price.
Gonna snag one of these machine screws too, thanks.
