I've been using trekking poles for a while now but this is the first time I'll be using them for my shelter so I'd like to upgrade. And was curious what everyone is using. I'm looking at a pair of Leki corklite the locks say they have a 300 pound rating but they seemed a little flimsy to me side to side. It gets pretty windy in the high country so I'd like a set that will buck the wind well. Thanks in advance.

I have the leki corklites the reason I bought them was to use with my tarp when wildcamping here In the UK , no issues with bending or locks failing in high winds , I use them with a DD super lite tarp ,also lent them to my brother in law who just came back from doing the trek to Everest basecamp with no issues I would never go back to the twist lock system.

I have the corklites and had to tighten the snap locks. After that, they were perfect. I might get the monopod adapter with them for next season.
