looking to get a pair of poles for an up coming b.c. goat hunt. would like something compact for packing. any and all ideas are helpful

I finally upgraded my REI (Komperdell) to Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Corks this year.

The BDs were pricey but I sure like the build quality and especially the adjustable flip locks. I torqued them hard a few times this year and they held up great.

I like the Black Diamond Z-Poles. Super light and compact.
