Treated Down in Ultra Wet Prince William Sound

Like others (and the OP now) I have yet to regret using down to include in SE AK. A light bivy (I use a Borah Gear) is a nice addition to protect from condensation when the tent walls start to rain (learning to pitch better also helps with that).

Other than long underwear, I do not bother trying to dry clothes, they will only get soaked again anyway.

Just found this thread. I've been looking at the chilkoot bags, has anyone had the chance to really put them to the test in a wet environment yet? Any AK guides using them?
I've always stayed with synthetic due to the fact that we usually are pretty wet when we hop in our bags at night and can dry clothing out.
