Travel health insurance

I am heading on a guided black bear hunt this June in BC. I am coming from the US and I am looking for recommendations on travel health insurance. I am not so concerned with recouping the cost of the trip if something happens, more looking for health insurance/ emergency health insurance. I know my US health insurance will not cover me in the event something happens.

What companies have you guys used before ort recommend, have you had to use the insurance - good/bad experiences?

I used Allianz for a recent trip to Cambodia. Whatever you do, make damn sure that you have good evacuation coverage.

When I worked overseas I had international SOS, was fairly inexpensive and good anywhere in the world. That was twenty years ago but the company is still around.
