travel case

I was looking at buying a airline approved travel case. instead of buying 1 for blow and another for rifle, is there do all type case. i was looking at the pelican vault v800 or boyt h51. only concern is the size and would they get dinged for oversize baggage.

I just did the same thing and bought the pelican v730. It is wide enough to fit my bow if I remove the forward stabilizer. The interior length of 44" fits all but one of my rifles. The length x width will accommodate one scoped rifle and my shotgun with barrel/receiver detached. You could most likely get two scoped rifles in there assuming they are less than 44". I looked at the pelican v800 but it was too narrow for my bow.

I didn't see what the limitations were on oversized baggage, but it is less than half of the 50lb weight limit empty.
