Wildgame Innovations cams. I have a few of the Cloak 14mp cameras and they take pretty damn good videos and they are very cheap. I also own a few Stealthcam cameras from camofire and they are trash. Lower quality video, no time/date stamp on the video, and unreliable triggering.
I’ve had really good luck with cheap Amazon Apeman brand cameras. Got them for 50 and 60 bucks on prime day. Taken decent enough photos and cheap enough to not sweat about them. That being said, someone can open them and take your card or delete photos even if you lock them up. Otherwise they’re pretty good!
I picked up a bunch of wild game innovations rival 20's last year for $45 a pop. They came with sd cards and batteries.just have to keep an eye out for good deals
Campark Mini Trail Camera - $40 on Amazon. Small, about 1/2 size of normal cameras, good detection, good enough photo & video quality - both day & night, very wide angle lens, lots of set up options - # of photos, video length, time of day active, can take photo first and then video, only takes 4 AA batteries. While the photo quality isn't up to par compared to $200 cams it is more than sufficient, especially at 25 yards & closer.
Here is a reduced size sample, sky is washed out as the contrast is too great to between east sky about 1 hour after sunrise & forest - that would be the case with most trail cams. Detail is good to about 20+ yards.
Thanks all for the feedback. I ended up going with wild game innovations. I found 4 cameras, batteries and memory cards supplied for like $140 on eBay in a packaged deal. So far so good.
