Tract Toric 2.5-15 or Steiner H6XI 3-18

Needing to pick up another mid power scope, has anyone done a comparison between the Toric 2.5-15 and the Steiner H6Xi?

Haven’t looked through a Steiner, but do own the toric w Eagleman reticle and it’s an amazing optic and the large numbered turrets are a nice touch.

Jut got a Toric Eagleman 2.5 - 15. I was actually surprised at the optical quality and the mechanical quality. It is a great value at $1,000.

My wife has a Tract 4x2somethingx50 & my brother has a ELRx56 by tract. I own both binos and a spotting scope by tract.

The glass seems amazing, I love my stuff, the scopes are clear also.

I bought a Steiner H6xi today 3-18 to go on my Seekins 7PRC on a great deal, while my ATACR is back at nightforce getting fixed (never thought I’d have to use warranty on it).

I would’ve bought tract (the glass is that great) but I couldn’t pass up the deal and it’s very very light for a FFP in the H6XI. How has everyone liked their Steiner? Figuring it’ll go on my semi custom tikka 6.5PRC build after I get my NF back.

I like it enough I bought another in 5-30, we will see how that one goes once I get it! You won’t regret it

No issues with tracking or anything? Seen any abuse?

I carried in the mountains all season. It tracked awesome on the deer that I killed and it’s done well on the range. I’m not shooting hundreds of rounds a year though doing long range shoots, so it’s not getting a ton of abuse. The clarity is amazing and it’s done really well on low light situations. I got the 2 x 12 for a thermal so I can see better at low magnifications. overall I love it which is why I bought another. For 1200 it’s a steal.

The 5-30 I got was only 1064 on optics planet after a 12% discount code. I’m hoping it does just as well but it arrives tomorrow so we’ll see!

Believe I’ll try the 2-12 on a suppressed 20” 308. Should work perfect.

I have the 2-12 and 3-18. Nothing but good things to say about them. Have used on elk, black bear, and about 15-20 deer.
