Any one here use these heads? If so what can you say about them? Would you, or have you used the 1 inch head on deer? Elk?.
Thanks,
CT

I took them up on their offer for one head........came to 5 dollars and change with shipping. I ordered the 125gr wide cut. It should arrive sometime this week.

Don't have that broadhead but shoot slick standards on everything from deer, bear, axis, pigs and elk. Never had an issue with a 4 blade 1" cut.

How did you get the offer to take? Been trying to order it using paypal and it keeps wanting to charge me full price.

I have only been hunting for two years but bought Tooth of the Arrow due to the recommendation of the local shop. I am extremely satisfied and took down a cow last year from 40 yards. I punctured lung and esophagus with the arrow breaking and broadhead stopping in the shoulder-blade. She dropped 20 yards from impact.

Here are my stats if that is helpful - 62 dw, 28" draw, 425 grain with the 1", 100 grain broadhead. I switched to deep six arrows this year and am thankful they make a broadhead for it.

They flew really well for me and a friend shooting 80 pound bows and 480-500 grain arrows. I killed a bull in 2016 with one that went in just in front of the shoulder crease and stopped under the hide after going through the hip bone that wings out at back end of the backstraps on opposite side. Half out insert bent but the head was still good. Shot it for practice after that for a few years. Sold them last year because I like to try other heads and have a bunch of broadheads.

Thanks- had sent an email to CS and they just got back to me- going to give them a whirl

Almost identical to a slick trick standard except for it's one solid piece instead of replaceable blades. Slick trick standards have worked well for me, so I'd imagine the tooth of the arrow heads would work just as well if not better. I also did the trial and got a single 1 inch head. It flys with my slick tricks and field points. Seems like a quality head to me and I might end up using them this year.

I use them but haven't killed anything with them yet. Love how they fly and from the torture tests I've seen on YT they're one of the toughest heads made.

I used them and they fly great and super tough. The only reason i switch away is for me kinetic energy being delivered from a 2 blade when i hit a bone because I’m an awful shot haha

Fly extremely well but my biggest complaint is they measured quite a bit less than 1: when I received my head. I thought it was odd, I also got a little annoyed with the IG marketing posts calling 11L41 steel a high carbon material but thats a litle bit of the nerd in me. I think that a lot of animals will fall prey to this head, they will be durable and tune easy, sharpening may be a PITA but i think they have their own system for that.

I got some last week and they shoot amazing.. Hitting dead on out to 65 yards, that's the farthest I've tried them.

I got mine in a couple weeks ago. Got a XL100. It flew with my Iron will wide 100's and fieldpoints out to 70 yards. Was pretty quiet for a XL head. Mine was ok sharp when I got it. I gave it a touch up but didnt like sharpening it. I also am not a huge fan of chisel tips for no particular reason. I doubt it will take the starter position from my iron wills but I feel its a good quality head.
