i really want a whistler or pika. I cant decide on 45 or 50 lbs. 45 is just so much nicer to shoot but bows have to be 50 to hunt elk/other species in wy and some other places. Prob go with 45.

If Mr. Greenpants in WY asks to check your bow just tell him you draw it to 30", making it 50. Never heard of anyone actually getting that checked.

i was kind of worried the officer would just read whats written on the bow and my hunt might be over if its 45. Not sure why 50 lbs is req to kill elk in wy. At 20 yards and 40ish lbs with a sharp broadhead has done it time and time again for many hunters. Oh well.

Great buck and choice of tools.

I have a 58" 50@28 2 piece myself and it's truly amazing.

Stickbow, what color did you go with on feathers and paint? I've been trying to hit that color for 3 years without luck.

Got my 54 pika from Dan. 53lb at 26. This might be my quietest bow. It’s gunna give my stalkers a run for thier money. The new grip is flatter on the backside and is amazing. I had a 2 piece pika before but the grip was rounded and I wasn’t a fan. This one should stay in the stable for years to come! Now I gotta go get it bloody and break it in.

I tagged my best buck with a Whistler on Saturday, Oct. 26th. Can't say enough good things about this bow. It's quiet, no handshock at all, quite fast, great grip, ect.. I love it!
