If Mr. Greenpants in WY asks to check your bow just tell him you draw it to 30", making it 50. Never heard of anyone actually getting that checked.i really want a whistler or pika. I cant decide on 45 or 50 lbs. 45 is just so much nicer to shoot but bows have to be 50 to hunt elk/other species in wy and some other places. Prob go with 45.
i was kind of worried the officer would just read whats written on the bow and my hunt might be over if its 45. Not sure why 50 lbs is req to kill elk in wy. At 20 yards and 40ish lbs with a sharp broadhead has done it time and time again for many hunters. Oh well.If Mr. Greenpants in WY asks to check your bow just tell him you draw it to 30", making it 50. Never heard of anyone actually getting that checked.

I tagged my best buck with a Whistler on Saturday, Oct. 26th. Can't say enough good things about this bow. It's quiet, no handshock at all, quite fast, great grip, ect.. I love it!
Straight up perfection. That's basically the exact bow Dan is building me this winter, just in the Whistler configuration
