Pictures are super deceiving! I killed a nice bull this year, biggest to date by far, I wonder what you guys think he scores?

It also helps that you didn't long arm him like most dudes do. The Best Elk photo thread is a perfect example of guys really stretching them out.

My buddy killed this bull. It's an absolute pig yet scores in the 320's. I've seen it laying with a 360 bull and it's nothing to be anything but proud of.

Exactly. That bull packs incredible mass right to the tips....but on paper the numbers don't reflect this.

To be honest, I find mule deer scores more often not to match the caliber of buck more so than elk, but in that case he punches way above his score, Big mass bulls and big 5 points seem to not get the number but are awesome animals.

I know what you mean about sizing. I am looking at any elk, pictures or mounts, to determine if I would shoot it or not. Not getting # of inches in my head.
