Looking for a toaster oven that is large enough to cook a whole chicken. One that could be a full size oven replacement-or close to it.

This is the one I have. Pretty sure you could fit a chicken in it. I have cooked frozen pizza, cookies, bacon wrapped hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, etc.

Have used it probably 3 days a week for 20 months.

Second vote up for the Breville line, we have the Smart Oven® Air Fryer Pro to be exact. We have had it for about 4 years now. I can't say the last time my wife used the gas range oven.

For the day-to-day reheating/cooking it's a winner once you figure out the settings to use. I generally don't use the REHEAT, but will use BAKE for heating left over pizza. It's almost as good if not even better than the day it was delivered. We cook COSTCO prepared meals per instructions with ease. We can cook up about 1.5 lbs of bacon in about 45 minutes (not all at one time). Brownies are WAY easy. We can fit a 7.25 qt Dutch Oven inside when cooking bread, meat/stew....etc etc etc

Get some decent quality cooking pans/sheets that fit and you will be even happier.

Best $320 on a kitchen appliance we have spent in a long time.

Is the toaster oven for base camp, or you spiking out with it as well?
I would use it at home and likely on the go a bit. I am building a shed and will have a mini office in there and will use it there some also.

Another BIG fan of the Breville Smart Oven AIR PRO. Amazon just had them on sale for $320, not sure if they still are. I had to buy a replacement, after 3 years of hard use the fan started going out on me. It's used multiple times a week, fits 9x13 pans, 12" CI skillet, etc. It's the single best purchase I've made in 3 years for cooking. I can count on one hand how many times I've used the big oven in 3 years.

Breville here as well. I’ve owned two and two only because I went to a larger one after the first and passed the smaller one on. Most friends households have them too. The full sized oven gets used every other month or so at most. About the only negative is it takes toast way longer than a traditional pop up toaster.
