To Build a Fire, Jack London

Classic. Jack London is one of my all time favorites. All of his stuff is good, if "Call of the Wild" doesn't hook ya...well I dunno.

JL has some amazing insights into the outdoors....and animal behavior, its uncanny.

My grandpa gave me that short story to read when I was about 12 years old, It really left an impression on me.. I havent done it lately but once in a while I would try to get a fire going in really shitty conditions (snow, hard rain, ect..) It will really open your eyes and re think your kit that's for sure...

Read it in a college English class last semester. It's a good story, but not as much fun to read when you have to analyze every piece of it lol.
