Titanium suppressor selection

The Nomad TI XC will be my first titanium suppressor. Currently waiting for the gov to reopen so my paperwork can get approved. Ive already been assigned a serial number. Looking forward to the new suppressor.
What caliber are you shooting?

If you had to pick one for the 20" which do you like better?
As of today I have yet to find a performance difference that would make me pick one over the other on that rifle specifically.

The Reaper with its factory direct thread cap is shorter than the TIXC with its direct thread cap. By like 1/2-3/4” so nothing substantial but it’s a win in my use case.

Thanks for the thoughts. Yeah that DA factory DT is heavy too, I replaced mine with a C&S and dropped over an ounce iirc and shorter.

Yeah I may replace mine yet. We will see. As it sits it actually balances my Tikka out really good right in front of the magazine.

I will say after seeing Forms results with the OTB adapter for the Reaper it will definitely make the reaper more attractive for me and my use case. I’d love to quiet it down more for coyote hunting then unscrew it and use a normal adapter for big game hunting to save weight. I know there’s other similar devices made by other companies that may work on the DA can but having US make one specifically for the reaper is just a win.

Have a nomad Ti XC on a 7mm prc and have been really impressed so far with it. Only comparison I have is a couple of Scythe Ti cans.

I went with the KGM r30t. It’s a great cam. It sounds amazing on my 300win mag and my 284winchester. It’s a titanium cam and really light for its size. I plan on getting another soon so I don’t have to swap it back and forth. I just got a griffin gp7 all to put on my ar10 in 308. It’s pretty short, but steel and it’s also a great sounding cam that’s a direct thread.

I’m running the TI XC on my 6.5 prc and 7 prc. Both 24” barrels. Direct thread. I’ve just been swapping it back and forth. It’s an amazing can.
Both my builds are pretty light. I have the HNT26 chassis on my 7. Recoil isn’t great. I replaced the stock butt pad which helped. Now looking at the DA RXD30ti to possibly run on the 7. Maybe help more? No more swapping.

Second for the Tbac ultra 7 or Magnus S. Have both and they are phenomenal cans. The ultra 7 has one of the best tones of any suppressor I’ve used and suppresses better than a lot of same length 1.75” cans. And Thunderbeast has awesome customer service should you ever need it.

TBAC ultra series is the gold standard here. The 7 strikes a great balance of length, weight, suppression level.

I have an Ultra 7 .30 cal and and Ultra 9 6.5. I don't how they are not at the top of everyone's list. I have a shop close to me that can't hardly move them. No one knows what they are. I continually get $2-300 off because they collect dust. Someone on the previous page put a chart up that had the durability of the TBAC suppressor as "good" vs "excellent". I would like to see how that was derived...

Your shop sounds special, what’s its name?

My local shops can’t get Tbac cans and when they do they sell out within a day of receiving them.

I think not being on pew science lost them some sales, now it seems like people know it’s a gambit. I think Tbac is doing fine, they are a year out on suppressor builds.

Iv got a hand full off suppressors but it’s hard for me to fault my ultra 7s.
