Lol, back to the gym for you!

Just kidding.

This tent is actually one of Tentipi's top selling tents, but it certainly wasn't designed for UL backpack hunting. (This same Olivin II is also available in a much lighter single wall nylon version for lightweight backpacking - https://www.mansfieldoutdoors.com/olivin-tents/ ).

With a packed size of 18" X 4" this tent is an extremely small, packable size for a CANVAS tent. If you're only hiking short distances, or traveling via canoe, stock, a quad, or any other means of transportation besides muscle power the advantages of a canvas tent start to become much more balanced. Canvas is breathable and creates a far more enjoyable interior climate in all weather conditions versus a coated nylon tent. And, a breathable canvas tent requires no additional liners or inner-tents to combat the dreaded condensation issue inherent to single wall nylon tents.

Tentipi certainly did not invent the idea of using a small fire inside a tent. And, all Tentipi tent models are also designed to accommodate a small wood burning stove when preferred. An open fire inside the tent is certainly not for everybody but indigenous cultures around the world heated their shelters with open fires for centuries and many find the option to do so a very welcome feature. In an emergency, it can be a lifesaver, but it can also save the weight of carrying a wood burner or other cook stove when desired.

my thoughts exactly! don't see much of a market for this. nobody is going to pack 14 pounds of tent into the back country. might be cool for truck camping but at that price point might as well just get a kodiak. also so not sure how any tent can accomodate an "open fire" for any period of time.
@robby denning used a Mansfield a bunch last season and has talked about the advantages of a canvas tipi vs a regular wall tent.
