Tipton Ultra Gun Vise

I have a Tipton ultra gun vise. It is more useful than I expected, but has its shortcomings. I think the best option is a bench vise with rubber soft jaws for the barrel. Other than that, the gun vise is great for cleaning, decent for mounting scopes ( takes a bit of fiddling but can be pretty solid once level) and has a reasonable foot print.
