I bought a TinesUp adapter to use with my Leica 62 and Nikon coolpix point and shoot camera during my scouting for my Oregon sheep hunt later this fall. It's been taking decent pictures but not great. Any suggestions on what settings to use on basic point and shoot cameras like this when digiscoping? I generally end up on the 'AUTO' mode but curious if there's something that would be better to get higher quality pics.

In the General Forums check out the Trail cam/digiscoping forum. Thead on the first page is "digiscoping basics". A lot of good info.

It depends on how much control you have over your camera, I have a Canon and have to adjust the shutter and Aperture on most pics. If I shoot in auto, the pictures usually come out too dark.
