What’s the first year you could get SV and what would I notice between a 2013-2015 model compared to a brand model....coatings, etc

I have a set of SVs from 2011. It is my understanding there is zero difference in coatings and glass used from 2011 to current model years. The “Field Pro” is simply different objective/ ocular covers and a different strap attachment design.

Also, I’m getting ready to sell my pair to try some 12x50’s, so let me know if you end up being in the market.

Yes and no, there are no major changes but there are constant tweaks in and ongoing QC. The field pros had the minor changes all incorporated.

Swaro says zero difference optically, and I agree. I tested a new demo pair that I got pretty cheap, up against my 2011’s. I felt the pro additions felt cheap. I did not like the objective caps, the harness system or the new rubber. The rubber stains and wears easily. Just my opinion.
