Did anyone else catch Ron Spomer say that he hoped the BC would work. He wasn’t sure if the BC would work but he thought the higher pressure game is where it’s going. Wasn’t he one of the videos pumping the BC as the game changer?

This feels likes a solution in search of a problem. Most hunters shooting inside 400 yards would never see a material different between 7 BC, 7 PRC, and 7 RM. When the 7 PRC came out I thought my 7 rem mag would be outdated. I'm now seeing head to head comparisons that make the 7RM look functional after all these years. Fine for those who like it, but "better" remains to be seen. Barrel life at higher PSI is an obvious concern too..

Can't reload. I quit reading after that. I have ZERO desire to shoot federals shitty factory offerings. But that should leave plenty for Spomer, JVB, and the Backfire queen.

Id personally have more interest if this tech was brought out in a .308-bolt face, short-action round, either 6, 6.5, or 7mm.

Whomever does innovation is gonna want return on their investment. It will eventually make its way out for everyone to use as they see fit.

I personally like tipped fusion line.

I'm not sure you know what innovation means. Apparently the patent for this has long expired. This is called marketing and ill let you decide if you fell for it or not.

Thanks for allowing me to decide!

All in good fun man. I really didn't mean that as dickish as it reads. People that don't reload and throw out casings, cool I can see the appeal. That used to be me because I didn't know any better.

The person worried about speed is worried about long range in this day and age. The person worried about long range will ultimately consider terminal performance. I would imagine that person would care that only federal bullets are offered.

The flip side is that the 300wm and 7rm exist from a period where that was not the case. But in this day and age I have to think that times are different.

Same here. All in fun.

I like innovation. I’m not buying this cartridge. But I do think high pressure is the future. It’s just not here yet.

I shoot a lot of thermal at night. Flat and fast is a win for me.

So I get a little over 2900 with a 20” barrel and federal factory ammo in 7prc. The steel is not reload able, yet and accuracy is not good. What am I missing with the BC beside being a test dummy for federal?
What factory ammo are you using to get over 2900 out of a 20” 7 PRC? That is smoking fast compared to my 20” barrel with my hand loads.

Both federal terminal Ascent will be at or over 2900 and their 175 eldx will be close depending on barrel. My 22" is over 2900 with the 175 and closer to 3k with the 170 TA.

Federal 175 eldx. I shot a few days ago in 25* and still got 2894. I have been trying to find a load to stay with and got 2818 with 66.5 grains of N560.
I have not been able to any federal near me for some time now. I’m sure it’s being used for the BC.
