Tim Wells instinctive compound shooting

The man shoots instinctive with incredible accuracy at amazing distances. Anyone on here shoot instinctive compound? Thoughts on technique , range and accuracy?

Well keep in mind that Tim is a unicorn.

He spends most on the year in the woods shooting his bow...it becomes an extension of his arm.

No, I haven't done it with a compound....but I shoot a gap with my stickbows which is I'm sure what Tim is doing with his compounds to get that kind of long range accuracy. Now it becomes an 'instinctive gap' for a guy that shoots as much as he does.

I've got a buddy who does it now.... shoots pretty well that way! I told him if I was gonna try that I'd go full recurve.
