Tikkas with factory threaded barrels?

I’ve heard from two different places now that Tikka will be offering all of their rifles moving forward with threaded barrels.

I can’t find any more specifics or information than that.. so I’m wondering.. does this mean the T3X Lite and Superlite will come threaded now? Or are they simply referring to the fact that there are threaded T3X models available?

A factory threaded T3X Lite Stainless would be pretty high on my list..

Anyone know more about this?

It's nice to see them coming out with some threaded barrels but in reality, until they come out with some shorter barrels, we'll still be chopping and threading.

Seeing a T3X Lite Stainless in 7PRC was interesting, though.

About time on the threaded barrels.
Tikka is coming out with a 6CM or did I just make that up in my head?

Threaded with what size and pitch? Something metric? Or should I ask, which are actually 5/8x24?

For those 16” 223s this is great. For compacts it is ok. For most of the others, people will just be cutting off the threads they finally put on while cutting off 4-6” of barrel. Suppressor ready line of stainless lites would be great.

All their barrels are threaded- that's how they attach to the receiver. I thought they were like that so you could change the barrel to what ever you wanted? ;)
That's what I have done to a couple Tikkas.

I just got a 223 that is threaded w/16" barrel. Came with the wood stock, which I am replacing with a factory plastic until the Rok's are available again.

If it took this many years to thread all of the barrels, how many more years will it take to shorten them?
