Tikka’s market share on bolt actions

Anyone know what Tikka’s market share is on bolt action rifles? I talked to my friend Mr. Google but couldn’t find the info I’m curious about. Anyone in the industry know or have an educated guess? I would assume they’ve probably gained at least10 pts in the last decade with their increased name recognition, popularity on forums like this, and Remington’s decline in share, but I could be off base with that assumption.

It's probably a lot less than than you think. We (Rokslide) are kinda in a bubble. Based upon what I see at the range and in the field the Tikka market share is pretty dang small compare to Browning, Savage, and Winchester. It's purely anecdotal but Cabelas has 110 models listed online from the above three manufacturers and only 9 Tikkas.

Like @steelheadmike alluded to...I think you can get a fairly accurate number by looking at how shelf space and inventory is allocated.

I still get looked at funny when I recommend Tikkas. And the few local places (Sportsmans Warehouse, Bass Pro/Cabelas) that do carry them, only carry their exclusive models. Ruger, Savage, Browning, Bergara seem to be the popular brands here in my area of SC.

Probably not much. I sell 15-20 cheap Ruger Americans or savage axis to 1 Tikka.

They all have a share. Remington, browning, ruger, and savage probably hold 80%

I tell ya, I am holding a T3X Arctic right now for a customer. It’s probably the coolest production rifle I’ve picked up in a long time. Nothing but quality.

it is really depending but here a lot of local hunters in the mountain are using them as they are working and not too expensive and they are light. but we have a known internet youtube influencer that is not using them and use as well vortex so people sometimes follow the hype.

im glad as a left handed shooter and hunter than tikka is making the offering we can have.
