I wonder if KRG could make one? Do n't think it would be hard.

So, Sako S20 triggers fit a T3x with the only modification needed being opening up the trigger slot in the bottom metal for the wide trigger shoe.

The primary advantage is the addition of a bolt release while on safe in a known reliable trigger system.

They come in both two stage and single stage versions.

They are almost identical to Tikka triggers, but made slightly better as evidenced by 4 staking marks around each pin rather than the two on Tikka triggers.

MWG had one TST in stock and one single action. I have the TST in hand, I cannot find any other Sako S20 trigger in the US (only Slovakia and Finland with no out of country shipping). I ordered the single stage from MWG today because I doubt I will ever find another and the bolt release is what I really want for added safety teaching kids to shoot.

Bix N Andy makes an S20 trigger, but I don't trust it. It looks to have the bolt release button though.

@Unknown Munitions or any other Tikka/Sako dealer can Sako S20 triggers be ordered?

Another advantage of the Sako S20 trigger is the bolt lock pin is tapered, so far I cannot make the safety bind, even when pushing up on the bolt. Further, the wide tapered base prevents the bolt from rotating as far.

Lucky find! The single stage is also gone.

Is that trigger you have adjustable? It would be awesome if there was a Tikka level reliable trigger where you could adjust the overtravel

Sako A7 has almost an identical trigger as well. I wonder if it would fit the Tikka.

I don't think overtravel is adjustable, only weight and shoe position.

I've never had any luck finding an Sako A7 trigger. I've looked a lot. So no answer their. The pictures of after market A7 triggers don't look like they would work.

I expected there to be more interest in this.

Clearly such a trigger can be made, I don't think it would be hard for KRG to change the Midas to be an "S20" trigger. But, doesn't look like there is much demand.

Not sure why I need the safety on to remove the bolt

minimal juice with much squeeze required
You don't. The only real safety advantage is if someone doesn't tighten the trigger screw and it comes loose, or aftermarket springs that stop holding. Both are easy to avoid.

I just personally prefer it as it lets me keep the safety on unless I intend to shoot.

That is one of the few complaints I have about Tikkas, only a 2 pos safety. A reliable OEM solution would be amazing.

I really wish Tikka/Sako was better about selling parts, not just triggers but actions too.

Does this trigger allow a live round to be ejected with the safety on? Will it still keep the bolt locked in the closed position when the safety is on?

I think I like the 2 stage and adjustable shoe in theory at least as much as the 3 position safety. Pretty cool regardless though.

How much did it sell for?

Yes, and yes.

$390, so a touch more than a KRG Midas.

Doesn't the t3x arctic safety have the bolt unlock feature too?

I don't have one, but you can see the bolt unlock component in this image.

I wonder if it uses the S20 trigger group? Or if it's specific to the t3x arctic?

Actually, looking at another image, it seems like the t3x arctic uses a normal t3x trigger shoe. Must be a different trigger group from the S20.

Can anyone with a t3x arctic comment?

I've had no luck finding a Arctic trigger, but the S20 and T3x triggers are similar enough if one wanted I bet a T3x trigger shoe would drop in the S20 trigger. So my guess is it shares parts from both.
