Tikka Trigger Troubles

To start with, this is most certainly a user issue and not a tikka issue.

I pulled off a barrel from my new tikka and should have removed the trigger assembly. I didnt and some pieces went flying. I was able to recoup the spring and safety lever. Lost the little clip holding safety lever though.

I assembled the safety lever and spring. The sear moves up and down as I activate the safety switch.

Now I mount it to the receiver and dry fire. No problem. Lift the bolt, pull back forward again and drop the bolt. Firing pin releases forward on close and trigger of course is dead. I did try backing out the trigger adjustment screw but no luck. Maybe I need to tighten it. It functioned fine before I took the mallet to it.

I also lost the bolt stop spring so I am currently testing without the bolt stop but that shouldn’t matter I don’t think.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I would turn the black screw in until 3 threads are showing. It looks like it's backed out too far.
