Tikka T3x - which bottom metal allows OEM mags?

Tikka T3x - I want to replace the OEM bottom with metal. I see posts on Mtn Tactical, red snake, atlas, etc. My question is which ones allow me to keep using the OEM mag? And then, ideally also be able to use other mags as well that would still be mostly flush with the bottom. Will eventually reload for the 270

You can buy Atlas bottom metal that will either support the original Tikka single stack magazine OR a Atlas bottom metal that will accept an AICS magazine. Two different bottom metals for two different magazine types.

What’s the benefit of swapping the bottom metal If the factory Mag is being used? Just to get rid of the plastic?

There really is no benefit. It's aesthetic. Someone might say it works better with gloves or it stiffens up the stock around the mag well, but in reality your paying $125 for a bottom metal that's heavier than the factory bottom "metal."

That said, I have two Mountain Tactical bottom metals and I like them a lot.
