I see you can pickup the new T3x lite Veil Wideland for about $1200. I also have found a t3x lite stainless for $660. I'm wondering if the Wideland is worth the extra money.

I can thread the barrel and put a brake and recoil pad on the stainless and still be under a grand.

Anybody have one yet? Worth the money for the cerakoting, fluted bolt, bolt knob?

Only if it's really exactly what you're looking for.

I'd personally much rather buy the lite stainless, pick my stock, pick my brake, and have it coated myself.

I'd go even one lower and get the "Lite" (non-stainless blued). Unless i was hunting near saltwater. Those things run sub 600, even sub 500 sometimes. Same gun. 7lbs.

Exactly what I was thinking, just wanted to be validated. If it’s exactly what your looking for, cool, but I would change a few minor things.

On the west coast now, so I’m thinking it’s necessary. I’ve seen them sub 500 it’s crazy.

I looked at the 300wsm. To bad it's 1:11 twist or I would have already ordered one!
