Tikka T3x Variants Question.

I’ve decided on a T3X with a synthetic stock.
My question is why are the cerakote ones $3-400 more than the black?

Is it just the coating or are other components different as well?

Was planning on just getting the lite and upgrading as I go but if it’s more economical to buy something else right out of the gate please let me know.

Lite models are carbon steel with bluing to protect metal. Price bumps up to get to all stainless. Then from there they are all just tarted up stainless.

In normal times, the “lite” variant runs 500-600$, a fantastic value.

The cerakote versions also have factory threaded barrels, which makes them cheaper than buying a lite and replacing the barrel.
