You should drop test your rifle with the factory spring too.

Mine will drop the pin on a ~1.5 ft drop to concrete on the butt when backed all the way out

Yeah, this is why I am going up to 2lbs. Not gonna drop test with 2lbs of pull and also not walking around with one in the chamber..........ever. And if it involves a tree stand, I'm out. So won't be dropping a rifle from one of those.
