yes 10 is pretty much the standard for .30 calThanks. This barrel is a ten twist. Should be OK with heavy high BC bullets?
yeah i had a t3 in 300wm that kicked like a friggin mule. sold that a while back and then a few years ago got the t3x in 300wsm. had it threaded and spun on an area419 hellfire and now it's a pussycat, what a difference. sure, it's loud but i wear electronic earmuffs hunting, even non-braked rifles are way too loud.My 300 win super light was basically unshootable before adding a muzzle brake but the ti pro 1 fit perfect and tamed it down perfect

Zero work. They make a drop in ready T3X option, make sure it’s the version for “factory sporter” barrel if you keep the stock barrel. How much work is required to get them to fit correctly? Thanks for the info.
It was in the rack at my local Sportsman Warehouse. I was floored they had it.btw, where did you find that? i had one in my cart at sportsmans but they took so long to add my ffl it went out of stock. perhaps you got that one?
Absolutely...will stabilize anything you shove down it. Most of these guys bought their 300 win mags before this spring when Tikka went to a 1:10” twist. The barrel is as accurate as I can shoot. Finnish stainless steel that is cold hammer forged with excellent rifling. If you shoot factory ammo, and don’t handload, there is no reason to change the bottom metal unless you want to. Factory ammunition COAL is always 3.34” regardless of how heavy the bullet. If you handload, you will want a longer COAL to get the most out of the heavies. You can put AICS bottom metal on the Tikka T3x action that will allow you to use a COAL out to 3.6”.Thanks. This barrel is a ten twist. Should be OK with heavy high BC bullets?
