Went over to Sportsmans this morning to pick up a t3x superlite in 6.5 cm and within a day of being on the 10% off sale it looks like every store is sold out within 500 miles of me.

You can still get the regular stainless version for 10% off for $718, but I was really hoping to get the superlite as it says its 5.9 lbs vs 6.7lbs for the regular stainless t3x and i'm trying to build a lightweight hunting rifle.

What are your thoughts, wait for the superlite to come back in stock for $750 or snag an almost 1lb heavier t3x lite for $718?

I just put one together for my daughter. It's a T3x, 6.5CM, with a B&C stock (actually weighs a few oz. more than the factory stock), and Leupold 3.5-10x40 with CDS and DNZ mounts/rings. At 7 lbs. 9 oz. it's definitely not really light but not too heavy either. I thought the only difference between the two was the fluted barrel on the SL, didn't realize the SL was almost a full lb. lighter.

Wait. Or it sounds like you will always wonder...love my superlite. Some good load info on this forum for them. They have some interesting opportunities for handloads.

Only difference in super vs lite is fluting, mine weighed 2oz different I believe, one stainless flutes, one blued without

My t3x lite stainless weighs 6.2 pounds on my scale. I’m pretty sure the difference between the superlite and the regular lite is about 3 ounces
Well if it’s only about 3 oz I might snag one. Maybe I’ll bring my scale into sportsman’s tomorrow verify

It shows in stock at the Rock Springs, WY store..Can they ship it to your local store?
I called and they said you cannot order one online, so i'm assuming you can't but i'm gonna call and double check tomorrow.

I have a superlite 6.5, its been a great gun for the ~ 2 years i've had it. If thats what you want, I'd hold out for it.

Cabelas sells superlites too but with a camo stock.

I just tried to order that one online at the sales price and it lets me, even shows free shipping. And they show on their website they will ship to your local FFL now which they didn't used to do. If you really like the Superlite I'd grab it at that price. I sure like my SL 7MM-08.

Gives me zero options now for the 6.5 cm SL.

??? You are right it now shows out of stock?? When I tried this morning it let me add one to my shopping cart and showed it in Rock Springs like the other poster said. I did cancel my cart so unless someone else swooped in and bought it??

Juneau AK had 3 in the rack about a month ago. Not sure if SW moves their inventory around that far. Not a real popular caliber in SE AK.
