I really like the feel of my KRG Bravo on a NRL22 rifle I have. I am currently building a 6.5 for deer, target, and potentially NRL Hunter once or twice a year. I'm okay with carrying around a 10# rifle but can't seem to get the numbers on paper with a KRG Bravo or Echo at or under 10#. Has anyone had these stocks and experienced a difference in accuracy between the two? The next option is to go Manners LRH-TK for significantly more money and not saving any weight at 2.75# without even adding bottom metal which would put me at the Bravo weight. I want Arca option for tripod and picatinny or arca for bipod. Adjustable comb is mandatory. Do not really like the modular chassis look, would like to stay traditional. Let me know if you have any other suggestions. Not getting different optics because I get a deal on these Athlons and like them. I have a Helos 4-20x50 I could substitute for 9.5 ounces in savings.

Option 1 (weight in ounces)
Proof 22" 44
KRG Bravo 49.6
KRG Arca 3
Athlon Ares 36
Rings 2
Scope Rail 1.8
Action 30
Bipod 20
Total 187.2 ounce (11lbs 11ounces)

Total 182 ounces (11lbs 6 ounces) going from Bravo to Echo

It would be in the bag with your choice of about any stock out there, if you dropped the adjustable comb requirement and adjusted a few other things. If you need height consider a permanent low-profile kydex riser like manners offers, should be able to have added to about any stock. 36oz scope isnt helping either.

With the components you have listed you’re at 8.5lb without any stock, so you’re looking for a 24oz stock to hit 10lb. Given the requirements exactly as you stated, I dont think you can do it.

An SWFA 3-15 would save you 13-14oz

A RokStok or RS Lite would also have potential of saving a good chunk of weight.

Ill have to weight my Echo and see what it comes in at currently.

I've got another scope I could put on but like the one I have for target shooting. It would save me 11 of ounces if I bit the bullet and swapped

Echo is out. Per the specs it won't accept a proof, the diameter is too big.

In this same boat. Before the went out of stock I was considering running the Grayboe Phoniex 2. Good blend of adjustment and function. But now they are out of stock so I’m back to square one.
