Not sure when your deer season starts but he’s got 2 of my barrels now. He said turnaround for most barrel work is currently 1-2 weeks as of last week.

Karl is about as good a guy as they come. I've dropped stuff off at his shop as well as mailed it to him and it seems like it's always nearly back before it left. You can always count on the time frame Karl tells you and if it's ever been different then what he told me it's because he got it done sooner. My top two "go to" smiths are Karl w/Kampfeld Custom and Shawn Carlock w/Defensive Edge Rifles and lucky for me they are both local to me.
