I like it fine for the bench. I've practiced with it, but... in the field... I'm unlikely to use it.

I've been vacillating over the mesa since they first announced it. One of these days I'll make a decision. Until then I'll just have to wait for the reports if those that went for it.

My .308 is 5/8-24. My SilencerCo Harvester 30 screws right on. I have never tried the included brake.

I’ll buy that walnut one off you. Can’t PM you, I’m too much a newb. I picked up a 300 wm superlite in the cabelas instinct. First tikka and I’m impressed.

Nice, my wife has a T3x Lite Compact in 7mm-08. I was impressed with it. Her first big game animal, a nice bull caribou, was not a fan of the Nosler treatment. I'm really thinking about building a Tikka to replace or augment my Savage .243 I built. After shooting her Tikka and my Model 70, I don't think I could build another Savage.

Either 6.5 isn't as popular as I've been told or Tikka made about ten times as many of them as everything else. I see the 6.5 everywhere, but not much else.

Not just tikka was at scheels and 80 percent were 6.5 creedmoor and 6.5 prc and 6.5x300 weatherby you were to 95% 6.5. The rest were 300win,7mm rem mag and 308 win. That included all the usual manufactures and seekins and Cooper.

Man wish I could find a tikka t3x lite classic synthetic stock ( plain, no rough tech or carekote) in the 6.5 prc, with 24 inch barrel, I have looked high and low and can’t find one. The stock will be replaced immediately, and just prefer bluing.

Depends on what matters. I wanted something that just worked. Damned if my Tikka doesn't put 10 rounds in under 1" cold to hot..... factory stock, didn't touch the ribs under the barrel, I don't even clean it..... it keeps doing the same thing.

Can anyone tell me if the tikka t3x veil wideland is stainless steel underneath the cerakote? barrel and action?

I was under the impression that they are not stainless from the research I have done, hence the cerakote.

Same here, thats what I was told. They said the color of the cerakote is called stainless.
