Tikka t3x in 3006 ?

Asking anyone who handloads for this rifle can you seat your bullets to the lands with cartridges that fit in the magazine?

I suspect the answer to your question is dependent upon the shape of the bullet and how far back the Ogive is located.

If it helps, 200 gr eldx cbto 2.663, 20 thou jump. Lands was the limiting factor not the magazine for that bullet. Shoots lights out at 2650 fps, 22 inch barrel

I load up 180g accubonds and partitions as long as I can so they still fit in the magazines.

They work great.

Just as an FYI: Tikka uses the same magazine for the .300 wm. In that caliber, the answer to your question is definitely no. My 180 accubonds in the .300 are seated at .200 off the lands and barely fits with the magazine.
