Tikka T3 Synthetic Rifle Stock - It's Too Loud!!!

Hey folks,
I love my TT3, I believe it's an older gen (2016) and they may have improved this detail since, but I struggle with the hollow synthetic stock being too loud when moving through bush while still hunting. It clinks and clanks against small twigs, branches and leaves and sends an awful unnatural reverb through the woods.

Does anyone have any recommendations for alleviating this without changing out the original stock? Whether DIY or not? Perhaps a neoprene sock cover could work, but I haven't found one that doesn't have bullet holsters (which I don't want). Or restitch some old lululemon tie dye yoga tights from the sally ann!?

Thanks in advance!

I was gonna say spray foam, or a dyna mat material.
Foil back butyl. But that could probably add some weight to your rifle fast.

First try Camo painting your rifle stock. All the colored paint, together with the several coats of matte clearcoat helped quiet down the stock on my Rem 783 a noticeable lil bit. I know exactly the sounds you're talking about too!

Spray foam. And it’ll still be loud, just not as loud. If you need it quiet the real solution is a wood stock from the classifieds.

Yep, pull recoil pad and stuff 6 plastic grocery bags in it or possibly 7, screw pad back on and roll out. Did it to several and help alot. Plus doesn't add weight.

I sprayed my stock full of Great Stuff gap filling foam. No regrets.

I also used a bit of closed cell foam to build a cheek riser, then wrapped that whole assembly in a layer of Vet Wrap. The vet wrap does a lot to quiet the stock down. It also feels good in cold conditions, and it's nice to have on hand in case of a sprain.

Suppose a bear tooth neoprene, check riser or ammo holder sleeve would help to.
That's what I'd probably do in combination with spray foam.

Awesome tips, thx all! Gonna start with stuffing it with plastic bags and then if that doesn't suffice I'll try to fill er up.
