I’ve been thinking about pillar bedding my tikka. I’ve seen a few videos on YouTube, but not much. Has anybody tried it? For the record, I’d like to get an aftermarket stock, however, I’m left handed and there are not many options.

If you really want a left hand stock get the wildcat. I have one on my left hand t3 in 270 wsm and absolutely love it.

I do have a left hand stock from MPI for a t3 if you might be interested in that? I believe it weighs 22 ounces finished. Just pm me if so

check out the mesa group buy, i just ordered a lefty, hoping it's a big improvement, of course it almost doubles the cost of the relatively inexpensive tikka rifle.

I've not bedded the pillars, but I replaced the stock recoil lug and stock actions screws with harder versions from Mountain Tactical, and then bedded the recoil lug. A cheap experiment that may or may not have improved accuracy.

Does Wildcat now make left handed stocks? When I had contacted them, I was told I'd need to modify a RH model.

My lefty carbon fiber from Mesa precision will be here tomorrow. 26-28oz with a vertical grip and a raised cheek piece. What’s not to like???

The wildcat doesn’t have any cast or palm swell so it’s ambidextrous. Just tell them it’s for a lefty and they will fill the spot for the right hand bolt handle. You will have to grind out an opening for the bolt handle on the left side but it’s not a big deal. Mine comes in at 19 ounces finished.
