Tikka t3 bolt shroud replacement question

My mountain tactical bolt shroud came with a spring. The plastic factory one did not have a spring. With the spring in the MT shroud the bolt is stiffer when closing the bolt handle or opening. Without the spring it feels the same but it rattles when the bolt is open.
Question is, does a T3 require the spring on a mountain tactical bolt shroud or not?

From what I understand, the mountain tactical comes with one or else it will rattle. That's why its included, so I'd recommend putting it in.

The stock metal t3x shroud comes with a spring as well.

I put it in. The resistance just seemed odd for the bolt lift and close.
