Tikka T1X 22LR Magazine

Can someone tell me if the T1X 22LR comes with the hideously long 10 round mag or the shorter mag? I’m wanting to order one but can’t find out which one it’ll come with. The Tikka website shows the longer mag but every gun on GB shows an image of the short one.

Did you buy the 16" or 20"? I'm really torn between the two. Will be used primarily for squirrel hunting and popping a few crows. I'd like the 16" but never handled one in person.

I’ve been looking into these, but really want one in .22 WMR. I’m wondering if the actions are the same between the .22LR and .17HMR versions, and the .22LR could be converted by reaming the chamber out ordering the .17HMR magazine and bolt. Any thoughts?

Also, the 16” version seems to be primarily sold in Europe, I’ve seen very few of them listed stateside.

The 16" are more plentiful right now than they used to be. EuroOptics has them in stock.

DIP inc. has an aluminium base plate for the T1X that reduces the size of the mag. it will only hold 6 rounds though.
