Tikka steel prefit barrels

12 helical fluting is the only one worth anything, but on an 18” barrel the savings is minimal.

Preferred makes great barrels.

When Federal or someone else offers the equivalent of a 6 BC or 6.5BC with a standard boltface, I am in.

A light 16” barrel launching a 108 at 3k fps. I am in.

Looking to order a tikka prefit fluted steel barrel 16” for a .308
Is there anyone besides Unknown munitions that is making these?
Or would getting a custom made barrel being the better route?

I would recommend staying away from McGowen. I ordered a tikka prefit in June and don’t have it yet. I’ve been calling and emailing them for 3 months and cannot get a return call or email response back.
