Tikka stainless 6.5 PRC $600

I love Accupoints. They are my go-to for most hunting rifles. I have the 2.5-12.5x42 on the rifle I took moose and grizzly hunting. It was ideal.

But I'm building this 6.5 PRC as a longer range "dialer". So I want the elevation turret.
Oh good I was a little concerned that 12.5 was too low but couldn't go to 18 without jumping up to 50mm. I figured that might be a little heavy for this gun

I picked mine up yesterday.

I'm going to get the bolt fluted, cut the barrel to 20" and thread. Debating OG 6.5 or Airlock 6.5 for a dedicated suppressor. I have it in my mind this will be "THE" western hunting gun for me based on my experience and everything I've learned on this forum.

I think I'll go Trijicon Credo 2.5-15 SFP/Mil.

SFP, blasphemy I know, but I'm just not sold on FFP for hunting. The only time I use my reticle as a ruler is target shooting and/or sighting rifle. I dial for distance for long hunting shots, and I've never even considered using reticle holdover for a follow-up shot. I was going to go Nightforce NXS 2.5-10, but the Credo is half the price.
I mean I won’t talk you out of spending money if you’re set on it- but you’ll save yourself some by not fluting the bolt. aesthetically I get it - but doesn’t add anything to the rifle IMO.

It's purely for aesthetics. I've always wanted a fluted bolt on a rifle.

Anyone submitted for the $75 rebate I started filling it out and it says they need an invoice that shows paid and has the serial number of the firearm on it. That or a copy of the 4473. Never had to do that on any other tikka and my invoice online doesn’t have the serial number of the rifle.

Yeah I had no problem. If you ordered from Euro Optic then the serial number is in the top right corner of the invoice which was emailed to you. The one on your account dashboard won't have it

I must be blind because I have the emailed invoice and it doesn’t show a serial number on that. I’ll try submitting it I guess and see what happens

Mine doesnt have it on the invoice either. I will have to wait until I get it back from being cut and threaded to submit mine.

I attached mine. It doesn't say 'serial number' or anything. I had an attachment in the email but my invoice thru their site doesn't have it.

Yep mine definitely doesn’t have that. Thanks for sharing though maybe I’ll email them see if they can send a new one

ETA: sent an email and had a new one with a s/n back in less than 20 minutes. Eurooptics is awesome

what e-mail did you use? I tried their contact thing a couple days ago but haven't heard anything back an also need an invoice with a serial number on it.
