That is very tempting, just to add a magnum bolt face for if I ever want to shoot a cartridge that needs one.

With rebate, it is unlikely a new stainless Tikka will be found for cheaper.

I'm tempted to buy just because, but I already have one stainless Tikka action sitting in a drawer because of a good deal, and not sure I can justify a second spare.

I actually have this gun in my cart. I'm in NJ so not far from Muncy but will most likely have it shipped to Butches in Vineland, NJ. I have a couple questions if you don't mind?

Roughly how long will it take to arrive?

What is the difference between this gun and the more expensive models other than the stock? Sorry if that's a dumb question but I'm a bowhunter and this will be my first rifle. Looking to use it for spring bear and possibly elk at some point.

I'm also looking for a 10 mm handgun. I'll check out your site to see what's available but any deals I should look into? I'm not picky and it's mostly going to be a paperweight.

I am no expert with Tikka, but I think the Roughtech has a heavier contour barrel making it overall heavier. I believe there is a difference with the stock as well but not sure what. I plan on going with an after market stock anyway.

Yep same here. I'll look into the barrels but doubt it'll make a difference as far as my needs. Thanks for your help!

The Roughtech stock has a paint job, basically same stock as the black synthetic. If going custom, buy the cheapest version and your build budget will go further. Especially if using just the action. EO has processed our orders quickly. I’m in Hawaii, last order for a rifle was this past Thursday. On my way home from work yesterday my FFL called. That is crazy for us. My tracking stated delivery would be Friday.
