Tikka roughtech vs custom ruger american

Interested in a .308 or 6.5cm. Was thinking of a tikka toughtech or getting a ruger american gen 2 and putting a MDT KRS Chassis on it. The price point is about the same on both. Any ideas and helpful information is much appreciated. Thanks all.

In my opinion, you’re asking if you should:
1. Buy a very good rifle.
2. Buy a very marginal rifle and put it in an expensive stock.

I vote number 1. And I own both Tikka and RA.

Tikka hands down. You'll be way happier in the long run
