I’ve only had this a few months, I had it as a backup rifle for elk season. I bought a 6.5 PRC last year - I’ve always been a big bore guy for elk hunting, so I was still leery of using a smaller caliber, had it for a piece of mind, just in case lol
No longer need it. Going to turn this into something else with the funds.
Tikka Roughtech 300 Win Mag
24.3” fluted barrel, 1-10” twist
Green stock, sniper grey factory cerakote and radial muzzle brake.
I swapped out the factory butt pad for a Limbsaver. I also put the Tikka pistol grip on it. I like the ergonomics a lot better, personally.
I will sell with the aftermarket stuff on there and also include the factory parts.
The rifle is like every other Tikka - a shooter. I shot 3 different types of factory ammo to see what it liked best.
Norma Bondstrike 180g
Federal Powershok 180g
Federal Terminal Ascent 200g
The Norma and Powershok shot the same, .5ish MOA to .625 MOA. The TAs didn’t shoot great, maybe 1 MOA at best.
I do have some Norma left I can sell separately if interested.
There is one nick on the barrel, I was a dumbass and set it against my tile counter and bumped it. It is shown in the pictures. Otherwise rifle is basically brand new, excellent condition.
I will take $1000 TYD lower 48
I prefer PayPal F&F, Venmo, or will also accept a USPS Money Order.
I’ll do PayPal G&S if you pay the fees.
I shot the Mountain Tactical brake on it, I preferred it over the factory radial (doesn’t have ports on the bottom). I can also add that in to the deal for another $75
