Tikka ring and base question?

I am planning on buying a Tikka T3x superlite in 6.5 cm, I have a leupold vx3i 4.5-14 cds. I would like to use Talley light weights but want to be able to shoot steel to 1000 yards. The scope has 64 Moa of adjustment. Has anyone used a similar setup?

I've got no experience with that scope but I recently purchased a T3X Lite SS in 6.5 CM. Put an LRHS 3-12 on it with Nightforce ultralight rings and a mountain tactical 20 moa rail. I'm at 8.4 mils to 1000 with a slowish load pushing 143 ELD-X's. The barrel is very accurate shooting about .4 MOA at 100 but my experience with mine and from what I hear is the Tikka barrels tend to be slow.

You can do the conversion to MOA to figure out if you think you'll have enough adjustment.

Furthest I've shot it is 1130 which my solver said was 10.3 mils but I was shooting just over the crossbar because there was a funky updraft at that particular range.

I'm learning the long range game thanks in part to some members here, YMMV.
