Tikka questions

Ya, I bought the Cabela's D-18 model (identical except for the stock camo and has 22" barrel) in .243 a couple years ago for $950. First five shots in that rifle were with factory Hornady Precision 90gr ELDX. One hole, smaller than a dime. I like that rifle so much I bought one of these too in .243. Haven't shot this one yet. The only thing I don't like is that oversized bolt knob sticking me in the back when carrying over my shoulder. I'm left-handed and prefer left shoulder carry.
I’m not sold on the bolt handle either but I’ll give it its fair chance. Easy to change if it doesn’t work out.

Im used to a 24” barrel. So, my thoughts were getting the factory 20” plus 4” for an og 6.5 gets me right back to home. Saving all that money on a barrel cut had I gone with the stainless lite.

I have the Seekins 6cm with the 24" barrel, with a Nomad TI XC on the front of it. I'm interested in seeing just how different a 20" feels. Not much difference between 24 and 22 IMO.

I think you will like this a lot. My maximum preferred overall length is 26”, but I really like keeping it to 24” overall length. It’s easier to carry, not only across the back or over the shoulder, but also in the alert position.
